Governance
The Charities Governance Code was announced in November 2018 by the Charities Regulator. The code sets out the minimum standards that must be met in order to effectively manage a charity. The code is made up of six principles of governance which Irish Community Air Ambulance is following, these are:
- Advancing charitable purpose
- Behaving with integrity
- Leading people
- Exercising control
- Working effectively
- Being accountable
Charities Institute Ireland Triple Lock Standard
- We are a 2022 Triple Locked Member of Charities Institute Ireland which actively demonstrates our openness, transparency and integrity to our beneficiaries and donors.
- It also means we operate to Triple Lock Standards, meaning transparent reporting, ethical fundraising and good governance.

Board of Directors
Irish Community Air Ambulance is governed by an independent, voluntary Board of Directors who are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the organisation, with operational responsibility delegated to our CEO (Chief Executive Officer).

Irish Community Air Ambulance is a registered charity with the Charities Regulatory Authority – Registered Charity No (RCN) 20070762. We comply with the requirements and guidelines as set out by the Charities Regulatory Authority.
