CEO of the Irish Community Air Ambulance, Micheál Sheridan, “We know that life can change in an instant and that nobody sets out on their day thinking that they will need our help. Fundraisers and donations allow us to bring hope to patients when they need it most. Our HEMS Air Ambulance can reach any location within a 25,000sq km area in less than 30 minutes. Our team of volunteer critical care doctors on the ground in Dublin, Mayo and Donegal bring the hospital to the patient and can carry out life-saving interventions at the scene of serious incidents and traumas.”

Our charity organisation works in partnership with the National Ambulance Service and has a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) Air Ambulance based in Rathcool, Co Cork with critical care teams on the ground in Dublin, Mayo and Donegal.
